Fall Pears

Country living has many benefits one being neighbors with fruit trees! Even better is a neighbor who goes to another neighbor's fruit trees (with permission) picks the fruit, then brings it to you! Wow, now that's a good neighbor.

Neighbor Gail brought us these pears last night after church. She got them from neighbors Charlie and Shirley. We will cook a few just to eat, then make a few jars of pear preserves. The only things that maybe even comes close to pear preserves on hot biscuits is fig preserves (on hot biscuits). Maybe.....
